Talon's Joe team called in Salvo for reinforcements when they traveled to Mexico City to apprehend Jazz. Salvo couldn't recall the name of their pilot. What It's Really Like

- Originally released in 1990 as a white guy from Arlington, Virginia, Salvo has been completely reinvented for IDW; the character is now a Polynesian woman from Samoa. Aubrey Sitterson said this was partly out of internationalism and partly because he felt the "original look (bald, heavily muscled white guy with giant guns and a shirt that says “THE RIGHT OF MIGHT”) reads as… a little too alt-right [1] She still wears the "The Right of Might" shirt the character is known for.
