During the Great War, Rev-Tone was one of many Autobots captured by the Decepticons and taken to Grindcore prison. Along with Skids, Rev-Tone witnessed a demonstration of transformation-inhibiting inhibitor spikes. When Rev-Tone flippantly asked what would be done to prisoners without mouths, Stalker drilled a hole for him. Speak, Memory: Part 1
