Stampy (BW)
| This article is about the Beast Wars Neo Maximal. For the Animated Autobot, see Stampy (Animated). |
- Stampy is a Maximal from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Stampy (スタンピー Sutanpī) is young, cute and... well, not the bravest Transformer around. In fact, he's a huge coward, which greatly frustrates his teammates. When he's not scared slagless at the thought of his next mission, this rabbit Transformer is quite cheerful and well liked, which makes others eager to help him overcome his fears.
Despite his youth and cowardice, he's an excellent scout. His innate speed and extremely sensitive ears make him perfect for gathering intelligence and getting the info (and himself) back to base in one piece (the way he most definitely prefers it). And if worse comes to worse, he can always transform into his "Scissor Mode" to slice opponents with his diamond-sharp blades... though that really only works if he's being carried by someone else, limiting the mode's usefulness.

"Out the window, Sam. There's nothing but strangers out there."
Stampy later traveled with the Pack to prehistoric Earth to rescue Razorbeast and company. He was very eager to get down there and try out his new rabbit beast form. This "bounding" exuberance, quite predictably, got on Longrack's nerves. When they reached their destination and took on the Predacons, Stampy was seen to handle Manta Ray and Scavenger quite handily. The Ascending #2
After trouncing Spittor as well, Stampy acted as a cheerleader of sorts when the Pack joined with the other Earthbound Maximals in restraining the Angolmois-infected Razorbeast. He later eagerly asked Lio Convoy what he should do when the Pack's commander was giving out orders. Lio simply ignored him. The Ascending #3
When he returned to Cybertron to help battle Shokaract, his tail caught fire as he escaped from the wreckage of the Pack's downed transwarp cruiser. During the fight with Shokaract, he transformed into his Targetmaster mode and was wielded by Longrack. The Ascending #4

Beast Wars Neo

- Stampy (Basic, 1999)
- Japanese ID number: C-31
- Stampy transforms into a rather vicious-looking organic snow hare seemingly designed to have his beast mode be in a permanent mid-leap pose. His robot hands are compatible with 5mm posts. His "Scissor Mode" turns him into... an awkward pile of rabbit parts with his pincers and ear-blades pointing vaguely forward, which barely scissor open and closed when his tail is pulled on. This mode is designed to be used as a hand-held weapon by larger Transformers toys, having a 5mm peg on his underside, though Stampy's weight often forces the wielder's arm to droop or the whole body to become off-balance and topple over. The Scissor Mode gimmick gives him a "shrugging" action in robot mode.

- Grasslands Showdown: Stampy VS Sling (Multi-pack, 1999)
- Japanese ID number: VS-31
- Stampy was also available in a "VS" two-pack with the Predacon Sling. Both toys were identical to their individual releases.
Notes

- Stampy's toy heavily borrows engineering from Transmetal Cheetor, but the two toys share no actual parts.
- When in beast mode, Stampy's eyes are able to project holographic radar. There Are 7 Capsules
- As evidenced on the official Transformers Facebook page, Stampy moonlights as the Easter bunny, hiding eggs from hungry children.
