Shield Dragon
- Shield Dragon is a Beastformer from the Beastformers portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Shield Dragon (シールドドラゴン Shīrudodoragon), also known by the nickname Scarf (エリマキ Erimaki), is one of the Decepticon Beastformers fighting a war on the planet Beast. The Emperor of Zigrad, he's a brutal, nasty sort who believes might makes right, a personality that sees him getting along well with Zigrad's ruthless king, Cobrander, and together they have turned the country into a tyranny condemned by the rest of Beast for being rife with inequality. His role in the Decepticon Beastformer forces is communications soldier thanks to his natural ability to communicate across long distances by emitting radio waves, an ability he can also use offensively by adjusting the waves' frequency and focal point, amplifying them to the point where they can become lethal. His place of birth is the Dragon Peninsula.
