The Transformers: The IDW Collection Volume One, published by IDW Publishing, is the first of a series of hardcovers aiming to reprint the IDW Transformers stories in a "suggested reading order" up through The Transformers: All Hail Megatron and beyond. New cover art (of Megatron) is provided by E. J. Su.

Notes

  • At the same time, Spotlight: Blurr and Spotlight: Cliffjumper (being the 20th and 23rd Spotlight issues, respectively) are placed immensely early, considering their characters don't enter the fray until all the way in All Hail Megatron. However, the argument could be made that these are "chronological" placements given that Spotlight: Blurr is a flashback and Spotlight: Cliffjumper is entirely vague in it's setting.
  • Furthermore, The IDW Collection continued to disregard the release schedule of the Spotlight series rather consistently down the line, which resulted in more... shall we say, questionable choices.
