Somewhere, on a wiki floating in the infinite void of the computer-driven system known as the Internet... a profile exists! But this is no ordinary profile — it is the profile of a man who has worked at Marvel Comics since the era known as the 1970s! It is the profile of a writer and editor; it is the profile of... Ralph Macchio!

Ralph Macchio (b. December 28, ???) was invited to tour Marvel as a result of his many fan letters to different publications. This led to a job interview, which in turn led to Macchio's ultimately being hired. By 1983, Macchio - having been an assistant editor to the likes of Dennis J. O'Neil - became an editor in his own right, with Bob Harras as his assistant.

Macchio has, over the years, worked on a diverse number of titles, including Rom, Micronauts, Spider-Man, The Avengers, Thor, and Captain America.

Most important to this Wiki is the fact that he is the famed and revered scribe whose pen gave birth to the very first issue of the Marvel G1 comic! This self-same pen-wielder would soon go on to compose another contribution to the many worlds of the Transformers, for it was he that wrote the Transformers: The Movie comic adaptation!

No, he is not the Karate Kid.
