Transformers: Bumblebee: Movie Prequel is a 4-part comic series published by IDW Publishing, tying into the 2018 film. An all-ages spy thriller, it focuses on Bumblebee's prior adventures during the Cold War.

Overview

During the Cold War, Bumblebee is on loan to MI6 and teamed with a new partner, but must soon search for a traitor in the ranks when a mission goes awry.

Creative team

The series is written by long-time Transformers scribe and continuity aficionado John Barber, author of several other live-action movie universe titles including Sector 7, Foundation and Rising Storm, and drawn by Andrew Griffith, who previously worked with Barber on Robots in Disguise.
