Syncol was present on Velocitron when the Decepticons arrived on the planet, mistaking Starscream for Silverbolt. Syncol was then brought before Megatron, who interrogated the Velocitronian and learned from him that the Autobots had been to Velocitron prior to the Decepticons arrival.
