Ore-10 was created by the Decepticon scientist Shockwave as part of his [{Regenesis]] project and, thanks to the manipulations of his time-travelling future self, germinated on a planet associated with one of the Thirteen. That future self — in the guise of "Onyx Prime" used the ore in conjunction with supplies of Ore-1 and Ore-9 to reprogram the Titan Metrotitan, sending him through time and space to perpetuate the lie that Starscream was the "Chosen One."
