"Take that! Autobots!! Don't get in the way of Lord Galvatron!!"

Synopsis

Starscream is led by a fellow jet, asking if the volcanic field they're flying over is the correct place. Just as his guide reassures him as to their destination, Nightstick is seen gesturing both down, and Cyclonus leads him down to the edge of an active caldera. Cyclonus says that in the magma lies the means to grant Megatron his true strength, heralding the New Emperor of Destruction. While Cyclonus is singing praises of their Decepticon leader, the Decepticon Air Commander is seething at the thought of not being able to acquire power for himself at the rate of how events are playing out.

Unfortunately, Ironhide tells the Decepticons that they can have a very nice long nap with their beloved leader, Hot Rod and Mirage backing him up. Seeing the shock on Cyclonus's face, Hot Rod gleefully explains that they had followed Nightstick before both factions begin fighting. During the fire exchange, the shots from the Autobots' weapons hit the ground near where the two jets were standing, causing the created rubble to block the caldera, much to Cyclonus's horror.

While two parties seem pleased that the crater is covered and thinks it's over (the Autobots setting their sights on Starscream, Starscream gloating he's the leader), an explosion sends everyone flying in all directions. From the magma and rubble erupts a very torqued-off Galvatron...

...who is actually angry for being rudely woken up. Not realizing that a fight had just occurred, he berates both exhausted jets for being lazy idiots, which Cyclonus weakly protests.
