Zariganian (ザリガニアン) of the Lobster Clan can fight just as easily in water as on land. Foes can underestimate him as he starts each battle with relatively weak attacks, but the longer he fights, the more energy he pours into it, and the more devastating his attacks become. His Tri Flat Laser gun at full power even turn a battleship into a mere steel sheet. He acts without hesitation, and will see any mission to completion no matter what its objective.

He is very sensitive to sound, able to easily detect differences in a sound's wavelength, making it incredibly difficult to hide from him.

  • Zariganian (Laser Beast, 1988)
    • Beast ID number: 85
    • Accessories: "Tri Flat Laser"
Part of the first (and only) series of Laser Beasts, Zariganian is an anthropomorphic crayfish in high-tech light blue armor. He comes with his "Tri Flat Laser" rifle.
Instead of a rubsign, he has a transparent orb in his torso with a small hole in his back. By holding his back to a light source, looking into the orb reveals the elemental power of Fire, Water or Wood.

Notes

  • Zariganian takes his name from the Japanese word for "crayfish", zarigani (蝲蛄 or 蜊蛄).
