Unbinding

The Unbinding is a ritual in the Dreamwave portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Unbinding was a Transformer ceremony which was linked with the opening of the Seal of Primus.

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

The Fallen gathered four Cybertronians that represented the different angles of the Geometry of Dissolution with the Unbinding used to open the Seal of Primus in order for Cybertron to be located by Unicron. The ceremony was completed but Jetfire managed to give Primus enough time to manifest and destroy his traitorous servant before the Well of All Sparks was sealed once more. War Within: The Dark Ages
