Slagking is a Laser Beast from the Generation 1 continuity family.

SlagK ing (スラッグキング Suraggukingu) is commander of the Laser Beast ground forces, answering to Skullgrotes. A member of the Illusion Clan and the Pteranodon Clan, he is an elite warrior who safeguards Emperor Tigerburn from the shadows. As a reward for his service, Tigerburn has assigned him to command of the ground forces in the Emperor's army. He is a strict commander who demands all the obedience that his subordinates can muster.

Slag King sees himself as the greatest among the Laser Beasts, a claim not to be taken lightly. He possesses formidable mystical and physical abilities and has an impressive regeneration factor that quickly heals most battle damage. His horrific Bone Hunt Laser weapon can melt the flesh of his opponents, leaving only bone.

Slag King resided in the Laser Beasts' underground city while their society grew more and more cold-hearted. Legend of the Three Wise Ones He participated in the invasion of the surface and the war with the Beastformers who lived there, at one point losing a battle when the enemy unveiled their Hunters. The Laser Beasts countered this by creating the Battlecruisers, one of which, the Battle Savanna, was given to Slag King. Beastformers VS Laser Beasts

Part of the first (and only) series of Laser Beasts, Slag King is an anthropomorphic Pteranodon in high-tech green armor. He comes with his "Bone Hunt Laser", which can only be held in his right hand as his left is molded in an open-talon clawing pose.

Instead of a rubsign, he has a transparent orb in his torso with a small hole in his back. By holding his back to a light source, looking into the orb reveals the elemental power of Fire, Water or Wood.

Slag King was included with the Battle Savanna Battlecruiser, a chariot that can be ridden by any Laser Beast or Beastformer toy. He is seemingly unchanged from his individual release.
