Transformers Hall of Fame/2016

2016 was the seventh year of the Transformers Hall of Fame. As with 2015, fans had the opportunity to vote in three categories: favorite character, underrated character, and musical act (the sole real-world category). The vote resulted in Optimus Primal, Cosmos, and Weird Al being made Hall of Fame members. In addition, David Kaye and Judd Nelson were inducted.
Nomination process
[edit]Between April 14th and April 20th, Transformers fan sites held individual polls to determine the nominees for the final ballot. Sites which participated included the Allspark, TFW2005, ASMZine, TFormers, Cybertron.ca, Unicron.com, BWTF, and TFWiki.net. The voting to decide the final inductees was held via on the official Transformers Facebook page starting on March 29, though rather than a poll, people voted by commenting on the post and including hashtags:

[edit]- The inclusion of Inferno was originally vague as to which character was meant, but it was quickly clarified that Beast Wars Inferno was the intended nominee.
