Megatron is a Decepticon from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Megatron is the tyrannical leader of the Decepticons, being ruthless, cruel, and evil to the core. He was once friends with Optimus Prime, though exactly how boggles the mind. He plans to achieve total global domination, though his corrupt plans are often thwarted by the Autobots. [1]

Notes

  • As with the rest of the Cyberverse cast, Megatron's design is based on the Evergreen design also used for his Generation 1 counterpart, with some minor stylistic tweaks.
  • It's not technically clear whether Cyberverse is a sequel to any other cartoon; if it is, that would make this Megatron one of the other Megatrons.
