Shinya Ohira (大平 晋也 Ohira Shinya, born December 12, 1966) is a Japanese artist, animator, writer and director. A former member of Studio OX, During this time he was a noted mecha animator having worked onPanzer World Galient and Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos. Ohira later developed an expressionist character animation style which became his trademark. He's most famous for his sequences in the film Kill Bill, theKid's Story short from The Animatrix, and various scenes in Ping Pong The Animation. He provided story page illustrations which appeared in TV Magazine and Comic Bom Bom for the Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers and Transformers 2010 franchises.
