Hirotoshi Sano

Hirotoshi Sano (佐野 浩敏 Sano Hirotoshi, born February 18, 1962) is a Japanese artist, animator, and director. He's most well known for his prominence as a mechanical animation director, shaping the look of various Gundam series during the 90s, notably Gundam 0083, Gundam Wing, and G Gundam. He also contributed animation for Cowboy Bebop series and The Vision of Escaflowne. A former member of Studio OX, he provided illustrations which appeared in TV Magazine and Comic Bom Bom for the Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers.
