Del Rey Books is an imprint of Ballantine Books, and successful publisher of science fiction and fantasy books. As well as publishing more general works, such as those of Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, and Anne McCaffrey, they publish many novelizations and tie-in books for popular film series including Star Wars and Transformers. Alan Dean Foster is one of their most prolific writers and has written more of their Transformers-related books than any other writer.
