Thrust accompanied Acid Storm in an attempt to recover the scout ship that Windblade and Bumblebee had stolen. Windblade was able to take off before they could infiltrate the ship, and a dogfight ensued, with the two Seekers being joined by their commander Slipstream. Unfortunately for Thrust, he and Acid Storm were taken out of the fight when Windblade discovered the ship's armament array, a brace of missiles sending the two subordinate Seekers spiraling down to Earth.
