Some friendly reminders
[edit]Hey, I see you've been making a lot of changes recently, which is awesome! Here are some things to look out for:
- Mark your minor edits. There's a little checkbox at the bottom of the submission box; whenever you're doing something like a little spelling change or other insignificant correction, mark it as such so it doesn't clutter up the recent changes section.
- In a similar vein, it's often useful to add an edit summary, just to briefly explain why you're making a change. This field is right above the minor edit checkbox.
- Use the Preview tool. It's super helpful, gives you a chance to look over your work so you don't have to go in and make multiple edits. It's located just to the right of the Save page button.
