John Grant (22 May 1930 - 23 February 2014) was a British author who had written many works for Ladybird Books. Between 1985 and 1988 he wrote a series of Transformers books featuring many characters from the respective year's toylines and more.
In addition to his Transformers work, Grant also wrote other Ladybirds featuring characters such as Masters of the Universe, The Flintstones and Henry the Hound.
