- Deadlock is a Decepticon from the Cyberverse continuity family.
Deadlock doesn't fit in with the Decepticons. He believes in a more honorable lifestyle than what his fellow 'Cons enjoy, and given a chance, would jump at the opportunity to make his own path.

Early in the Great War Deadlock, wishing to defect from the Decepticons, was brought to Maccadams by Bumblebee, who needed to find Optimus Prime to get his new friend to safety. Unfortunatly an angry Megatron had followed them and intended to use Deadlock as an example for others, but before he could do so Maccadam demanded that there would be no fighting in his bar; after Megatron stormed out, Maccadam told Deadlock that he was welcome to stay in the bar as a refuge for as long as he needed. - In most continuities "Deadlock" is the name formerly used by Drift before his defecting from the Decepticons to the Autobots, which may imply a few things about this Deadlock's future character arc.
