• Iron Maiden is the favorite band of artist Bill Forster, who created the template for Major Tungsten's bio.
  • In honor of this, he placed numerous hidden (and some not-so-hidden) references to the band in The AllSpark Almanac series of books.
• An excerpt from the Iron Maiden song "Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)" (from their 1984 album Powerslave) was used in the Japanese version of the The Transformers: The Movie trailer.
• The Knights of Unicron tour t-shirt is a homage to the Iron Maiden single, "The Trooper".
