Trident was a member of the Society of Ultimate Villainy; following a Decepticon raid on a Sumdac Systems facility, he and his teammates attacked the Autobots after mistaking them for some of Sumdac's automatons. Trident contended with Hoist, but the villains were ultimately defeated and turned over to the local authorities. Renegade Rhetoric (2), 2016/05/05

• Trident is a straight adaptation to the GoBots character of the same name, who appeared in the Challenge of the GoBots episode "Trident's Triple Threat".
