  • This is the first mainstream usage of the name "Nova Storm", having previously only been used as a retroactively-applied name given to a member of the Generation 1 Rainmakers (via Ask Vector Prime). While both Seekers, this Nova Storm differs from the original in both gender and color scheme, being primarily purple rather than yellow.
  • Episodes "Sabotage," "Teletraan-X," "Matrix of Leadership," and "Siloed" use an incorrect model of Nova Storm where she lacks any trim on her cockpit in robot mode.
