The War of the Headmasters is a historical event from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Prior to the ascension of the Thirteen, Megatronus led his armies in what would be known as the War of the Headmasters.

• As per Robots in Disguise #34, the first Headmasters came online during the chronologically later First Cybertronian Civil War, so it's not clear what exactly this war entailed.
• And we'll probably never find out.
