Talk:Punch (disambiguation)
From MediaWiki
There are, uh, a ton of external sites all linking to this page. We could redirect it to Punch (G1), perhaps? --abates (talk) 21:09, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- Works for me. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 21:24, 15 November 2018 (EST)
Gonna point out; there's an Animated Punch mentioned in the AllSpark Almanac II, along with Computron. Escargon (talk) 21:36, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- ...that must have flown under everyone's radar then, because there's no page for him. I'll reinstate the Punch disambiguation page, relink to the Punch pages, and leave Punch (Animated) a redlink for someone who actually has the almanac to create. -Foffy (talk) 22:01, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- I'll check out the almanac later. --notirishman (talk) 22:07, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- You won't have any luck, cause he's only mentioned in one of the Cybertronix bits. See here: http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/digipedia/annotatedalmanac2.html
- "While the envelope behind Iota Supreme is a little tricky to read due to parts of it vanishing into the page fold, Bill Forster put up an unobstructed version of it on his DeviantArt account. Across the top, it reads: “Elite Guard. If over 10 envelopes accumulated at your workstation, return surplus to front desk receptionist.” The first user of the envelope was Alpha Trion, who sent a missive to Computron, an Animated version of the G1 Technobot combiner first mentioned here. Computron then used it to send something to Perceptor, who sent something to Blaster, who sent something to Kup, who sent something to new Animated character Punch, though he accidentally wrote Counterpunch and had to cross out the “Counter”, a reference to the faction-switching Generation 1 spy, Punch. The final recipient was Shockwave; the entry begins with “Sho” written in Predacon Cybertronix, before being crossed out and replaced with “Longarm” in Maximal. But this is in the From box, so what does this mean? Did Punch know Shockwave was Longarm?" Escargon (talk) 22:20, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- So, we add this info to all the characters mentioned as well as create Punch (Animated) and Computron (Animated) (and by extension, Computron (disambiguation))? --notirishman (talk) 22:51, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, sounds good. I've just created and implemented the latter; I'm not sure how to tackle the former, so I'll let someone else do that. -Foffy (talk) 23:08, 15 November 2018 (EST)
- I just created a page for Animated Punch, haven't done Computron yet though. Also, I have a question, should I add something that says Not to be confused with Nightbeat? Because there's a Kreon Punch but it's called Nightbeat. --CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 13:49, 18 December 2018 (EST)
