We're totally waving at you!
Hi, Metalstar! Welcome aboard!

Welcome to TFWiki.net, one of the foremost resources on all things Transformers! If you're new, we recommend you read through our help documentation before you start editing. Here's some links to specific areas of interest:

This will help you understand how TFWiki.net works, and help ease you into our odd little place. Once you feel you're accustomed, feel free to remove this message!

However...

Yeah, yeah--save it for the message boards!

This wiki is a reference document, not a chatroom. The Talk pages are for discussing how to improve the wiki. The User Talk pages are for requesting and receiving advice (and admonishments) about how to improve the wiki. They're not for random fandom chatting.

If you want to discuss Transformers with like-minded fans, we recommend Seibertron.com, Transformer World 2005, The Allspark, or our Discord.

Also...
"No doubt our wit is too slyly subtle for them to appreciate."
"No doubt our wit is too slyly subtle for them to appreciate."
"Apparently, some of your kind saw fit to decorate me while I was waiting."

If you haven't yet contributed anything, we'd really rather you didn't simply change jokes or add new ones without adding actual content. This also holds true for removing captions whole-hog or replacing them with "information" that really isn't.
Remember, we're meant to be informative first, funny second. Write an episode summary, check out the Most Wanted Pages list or the Stubs list.
For further information, see: Project:Captions

Please don't change other people's captions unless there's offensive content. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 13:34, 11 January 2019 (EST)

OKAY OKAY JEEZ! I'm new here okay?! SHEESH!

I realize that, and I'm trying to be as delicate about this as I can since you're new, but there are some editors here who are way less patient about this stuff than I am. It wouldn't hurt to give our Help page a read to familiarize yourselves with our rules and get some tips on how to get the most out of the wiki. The more you know, the less chance of getting on someone's bad side, y'know? -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 14:48, 11 January 2019 (EST)

I don't appreciate being called a caption bastard. Is there a less offensive term?

That's the link for the template. Not my words. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 17:20, 11 January 2019 (EST)

Oh. Also the Torterra thing just seemed to fit better for Slobber rock in my opinion. I have learned my lesson though.Metalstar (talk) 09:04, 15 January 2019 (EST)

Once more, please consider that the wiki is not a chatroom. There are forums and social media sites for that. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:15, 22 January 2019 (EST)

Just know I'm pulling a beast machines Blackarachnia hand. (That joke's definitely gonna fly over you head)--Metalstar (talk) 08:40, 25 January 2019 (EST)

Once again...

Yeah, yeah--save it for the message boards!

Grum (talk) 12:07, 31 January 2019 (EST) But it says discussion!--Metalstar (talk) 15:21, 31 January 2019 (EST)

Have you never observed other discussion page on this site? They are designated for discussing potential page improvements. If you want to discuss anything in general, that is what forums and social media are for. We are not a general chatter site. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 17:32, 2 February 2019 (EST)

Listen

I know you all think I talk too much. However, I feel kind of attacked. I'm new and I'm not used to the rules of this wiki yet. So please be patient with me. Instead of telling me what not to do, tell me what I need to do and how.--Metalstar (talk) 16:10, 31 January 2019 (EST)

Image captions

As noted on the template that's already been posted further up this very talk page (and covered in more detail on policy page that the template links to), it's against TFWiki etiquette to go around writing image caption jokes if you haven't put some time in adding factual content to the wiki. If you're adding a new image that you've uploaded, by all means feel free to caption it, but finding existing images to add jokes shouldn't be something you're doing until you've spent more time contributing to the wiki. Right now, the overwhelming majority of your activity is posting on talk pages. FYI, when people tell you stuff like this, they're not "attacking" you, they're just telling you how things work here, so that you don't keep getting edits reverted. Oh. Sorry.--Metalstar (talk) 13:37, 1 February 2019 (EST)
