The Maximals arrive back on Cybertron to find a less than warm welcome.

Synopsis

Following the conclusion of their battles on Earth, the Maximals return to Cybertron, only to discover that Megatron has taken over using his Vehicon forces. As they're pursued by Jetstorm, Tankor, and Thrust, the Oracle comes to their aid, giving them techno-organic bodies. The Maximals set their sights on reclaiming Cybertron and begin gathering information by attacking Vehicon patrols, however during one such battle, they are confronted by Jetstorm, Tankor, and Thrust, who are ready for some payback. The Maximals are able to defeat them however, and the three Vehicons flee. The Maximals celebrate their victory while elsewhere Megatron plots revenge.

Notes

• This is a raid event.
• The background and characters come from the Beast Machines show. As with previous beast era events, Maximals are treated as Autobots and Vehicons as Decepticons.
• This event introduced "Legendary" rarity 7 cards, the sole example in it being the Megatron tier 1 reward.
• Unlike the show, this episode isn't preachy. At all.
