Magnetic disruptor

A Magnetic Disruptor is a large machine that once activated, can disrupt the magnetic poles of planet earth.

Shockwave built 2 ships that were equipped with these disaster devices and brought them to earth as part of a plan to kill all living things on the planet. He explained the plan to Slipstream, before subsequently separating the ships. The scientist took Acid Storm and Thrust with him to the south pole, while Shadow Striker took the remaining seekers up north. Unfortunately for them, Teletraan-X had picked up the ships with the orbital scanner in Grimlock's base, and the Autobots headed to the north pole to save the planet. Windblade lured out Slipstream and Nova Storm, while a dancing Bumblebee attracted Shadow Striker, leaving Thundercracker alone to operate the disruptor. Grimlock and Teletraan-X then snuck aboard, and after knocking out the young seeker and smashing some of Shockwave's drones, the two were able to destroy Shadow Striker's ship. The Extinction Event

Shockwave later used his ship to erupt Mount St. Hilary to destroy the Ark. It failed, as the sheilds were raised and the Autobots were increaded in numbers. Eruption
