I guess I should explain what I mean about the way search works on MediaWiki. When you type "transformers: fall of cybertron" in the search box and press the "Go" button, it doesn't perform a case insensitive search because apparently that would be too slow. Instead it performs case sensitive searches for "transformers: fall of cybertron", "TRANSFORMERS: FALL OF CYBERTRON" and "Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron" and takes you to the article it finds. With this redirect in place, it would take you straight to the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron article, whereas without it you get search results instead. --abates (talk) 21:01, 26 March 2019 (EDT)
