Machinima
Machinima Inc. was a California-based online company known for kickstarting the "machinima" genre of creating web animation through video game technology. From 2016-2019, it was owned by Warner Bros. Digital Networks.
In 2016, they collaborated with Hasbro Studios to create the Combiner Wars web series, followed by two sequel series - Titans Return and Power of the Primes. In January 2019, following the company's absorption into Otter Media, another company owned by Warner Bros. Digital Networks's parent company WarnerMedia, all content on the Machinima channel was privatized and made unavailable for viewing, including all Prime Wars Trilogy content. Machinima officially announced their closure the following month. Several of their exclusive series, including the Prime Wars Trilogy, were later migrated to Rooster Teeth, another Otter Media property, who are set to take over production of subsequent Transformers webseries.
