Additionally, the book features two autobiographical works by female creators:
- "The Stage," by Katie Cook, detailing her work on IDW's My Little Pony comics
- "Of Flying and Falling," by Mairghread Scott, which follows her childhood love of Beast Wars, Airazor, and the decisions that led to her depiction of Windblade, illustrated by Till All Are One artist Sara Pitre-Durocher

- The name references the computer of the same name from the original Jem and the Holograms cartoon.
