Crankshot

Crankshot is an Autobot and a Decepticon from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Crankshot works at prisons.

IDW continuity (2005)

Crankshot was among the guards at the Decepticon penal colony Styx. When Hot Rod infiltrated Styx, Crankshot was one of the guards called in to investigate false alerts created by Hot Rod. Demo ordered him around. Spotlight: Hot Rod

Later, after switching factions, he was at the Autobot penitentiary Garrus-9, trying to defend it against Nemesis Prime. Spotlight: Doubledealer
