Not long after the Simanzi Massacre in Cybertron's western provinces, Skids failed to successfully defuse an anti-personal mine, leaving him unconscious. He was recovered by Skyquake's hygiene team and herded along with some other prisoners to Grindcore. Speak, Memory: Part 1
