Strongbox

Strongbox is a Transformer from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Strongbox's job is to transport money and other valuables around using his big, boxy armored truck alternate mode. He works alongside Nightshift.

2005 IDW continuity

Before the war completely engulfed Cybertron, Strongbox and Nightshift were delivering a small load of credits to Iacon, a job which had them pass through the desolate Wreckage Row of Kaon. Strongbox assured his nervous buddy that the place was abandoned and there was nothing to fear, only for both of them to be knocked out by a sudden explosion courtesy of the Dynobots, who proceeded to blow open the unconscious Strongbox's trailer and steal the money he was carrying. Some time after the great exodus, Strongbox took a courier job on the ruined world of Magmara Nine. This job would prove to be his last, however, as he was attacked by the Stunticons in an attempt to retrieve his cargo. Despite attempts to convince the group that his cargo wasn't worth it, Strongbox was easily disabled and was left to plummet to his death. Primacy #2
