• Samus Aran is the protagonist of Nintendo's Metroid video game series... wait, she's not a robot?!
• In Transformers Animated, a type of weapon, the Samus-blasters, are a reference to Samus Aran.
• In Metroid Fusion, Samus blew up the planet SR388 by dropping a space station on it. The AllSpark Almanac II alluded to this act of hers (without name dropping her) by mentioning a destroyed planet named SR388.
