As part of their plan to prevent the Functionist Council invading the regular universe with the Functionist Universe Cybertron, the crew of the Lost Light created twelve Matrixes and used them to overload Vector Sigma through the planet's hot spots. Brainstorm and Nautica were assigned a Matrix and sent to Vauvaire, where they shared a moment of friendship while battling the Council's forces. Brainstorm was damaged during the fighting but after hearing an inspirational speech from Rodimus, Nautica opened her Matrix and the Functionist Council was defeated. A Spark Among Embers
