Synthoplasmic chambers were used to give the Decepticon Pretenders their synthoplasmic outer shells at a stolen genetics lab. Then Optimus Prime stole their plans and the Autobots came up with their own Pretenders using synthesized protoplasm. Pretender to the Throne!
