Mach (G1)
| The name or term "Mach" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Mach (disambiguation). |
- Mach is an Autobot from the Victory portion of Generation 1 continuity family.

Mach (マッハ Mahha) doesn't like fighting. Mach likes peaceful strolls. And fuzzy things. He is certainly no dummy, but usually he does need to ask at least twice for an explanation from Tackle before he gets a concept. He doesn't quite understand why humans are surprised by a fifteen-foot-tall robot. He turns into a space shuttle, so he should be able to get peace and quiet in space. Oddly enough, it doesn't work out like that. However, when a fight starts, he has no problems in waging it—unless ordered otherwise. He's a good soldier that way. Mach combines with Tackle to form the imaginatively named Machtackle. Together they make a much more dynamic fighter. As part of the Multiforce, Mach also serves as the left arm of the powerful Landcross.

Micromaster
While testing out stealth technology, Mach and the rest of the Multiforce stumbled through a dimensional rift that brought them years into the past. There, Micromasters battled over Mount St. Hillary, where Optimus Prime, Megatron, and their troops slumbered within the Ark. Before Wing could introduce him to the local Autobots, the Multiforce had to head out to meet a Decepticon threat. He combined with Tackle to form Machtackle and helped taking on the Decepticon Sixbuilders. Mach then combined with the rest of the Multiforce into Landcross to send Berserker Sixwing packing. The Menace of Landcross's Combining Formation!
Ask Vector Prime
The Multiforce followed the normal flow of time to return to their native period, making sure to not interfere with events they knew had to transpire. To this end, they avoided the other Transformers and explored the Skomiloch Territories and clashed with the Predators. Their journey enabled them to be able to stop the Praetorian from using the corrupted Reconfiguration Matrix to rewrite all robotic life in the Vega Sector into loyal Scrapmetal. Victory manga
The Multiforce was summoned to Earth by Star Saber and battled Dinoking as Landcross. After defeating Dinoking, Landcross separated in order to swarm Deathsaurus with superior numbers. Magnificent! Our Friend, Star Saber!
After having lost a battle to Deathsaurus as Landcross, and being subsequently rescued by Star Saber, Mach helped rescue the animals hurt by the forest fire caused by the Decepticon Emperor. Great Turn-Around! Star Saber
Mach once enjoyed a communal bath with the other Autobots. Warrior of Love, Star Saber!
Mach also fought against the Decepticons inside their space base as it was raining down meteors onto the Earth. The war ended peacefully with a truce between both factions. Heroic! The Victory War

Toys
Victory
- Machtackle (1989)
- Japanese ID number: C-318
- Accessories: Gun, Landcross chest armor
- Mach transforms into a vaguely-futuristic Space Shuttle. He can also transform into either the upper or lower half of a two-robot combiner, though his nominal combination is with his pack-in partner Tackle, forming the top half of Machtackle. He can also also form any limb to Landcross, with his default placement as the left arm, while his wings form the combiner's chestplate.
- Landcross (1989)
- Japanese ID number: C-319
- Accessories: Gun, Landcross chest armor
- Mach was also available in a giftset containing the entire Multiforce team. All of the toys in this set are identical to their individual releases.
Micromaster
- Mach (DX Micromaster, 2002)
- Micromaster ID number: 5
- Accessories: Gun, Landcross chest armor, Landcross waist plate
- Released in the final wave of Micromaster as a "DX Micromaster", this reissue of Mach was sold in a single-bot box. The box has a small hole in the front to show a number printed on the instructions, revealing which toy is inside.
- Though this release (mostly) retains his plastic colors (the black joints are now dark gunmetal), his extra deco has changed. His robot mode face changed to silver, keeping the red to his optics. An Autobot symbol has been added to the left side of his tailfin. His wing-piece also had red added to the circular vents on the Landcross chest side.
- Mach Stealth Mode (DX Micromaster, 2002)
- Micromaster ID number: 5
- Accessories: Gun, Landcross chest armor, Landcross waist plate
- A special "chase" version of Mach was available, in mostly black plastic and minimal paint operations. All six members were available in "stealth mode", but only two out of every twelve toys in a case were black versions, and which two the case had was randomized. And no, you can't peek in through the hole in the box to see if it's a chase or not, as the instructions block it off.
