The Daily Globe reported on Joey Slick's robbery of First National Bank and his defeat of the National Guard who were sent to apprehend it. Jake Lomax read it and was quite furious, as his men were unable to take down Slick. In his rage, he tore up the newspaper. Shooting Star!
