Headcannon is an Autobot from the Wings Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Two face cannons! Top that, Lockdown!

Headcannon has cannons in lieu of a face. He is a mighty warrior, but he is also a writer of his own "botfiction" about the works of Crosscut.

• Headcannon is based on the Bonaparte Tulcas toy from Takatoku Toys' Special Armored Battalion Dorvack (特装機兵ドルバック) line, which Hasbro originally planned to license as a Deluxe Vehicle for the Transformers line, along with fellow Dorvack figures "Mugen Calibur" and "Oberon Gazzette". These latter two became Roadbuster and Whirl respectively, but Bonaparte Tulcas was ultimately excluded from Transformers, perhaps due to his unconvincing robot mode.
• At the BotCon 2014 "From Japan with Love" panel, a proposed name for this character was given as Landfire.
• Bonaparte Tulcas is seen as an alternate form for Tankor in Transformers Legends Comic: Bonus Edition Vol. 3.
• Headcannon's name, given via the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime, is a pun on "head canon", a synonym for personal canon.
