This article is about the Animated-series Decepticon military plane. For The Cybertron-series Decepticon motorcycle, see Lugnutz.
Lugnut is an Decepticon in the Transformers Animated continuity family.
The secret love child of Shockwave and Omega Supreme.

Lugnut has elevated blind loyalty to a fine art. If it came right down to it, this massively powerful mech would walk into Hell and back for Megatron. There may not be much going on upstairs, but Lugnut knows he doesn't need to be a thinker. His brute force alone is enough to serve Megatron, a being born to lead the Decepticons, and irreplaceable in Lugnut's eyes. God only knows what he'd do if anything ever happened to him.

Lugnut is renowned throughout Cybertron as one of the most destructive fighters for the Decepticon cause, able to throw a punch with the force of a small bomb. Autobots know that the only way to survive a fight with him is to stay out of his path.

Megatron is wise! Megatron is bold! Megatron will return the Decepticons to Cybertron!Lugnut, Megatron loyalist, "Transform and Roll Out!"

Lugnut is onboard the Nemesis with Megatron, Starscream, Blitzwing and Blackarachnia. After Starscream insults Megatron, Lugnut leaps in and roars about how Megatron wil lead the Decepticons to a new age. Blackarachnia mimics him, asking if he has memorised the speech, or if it is just hardwired into his one-track processor. Blitzwing seemingly defends Lugnut by insulting Blackarachnia, but he soon bursts into song, prompting all the Decepticons to argue, until the entry of Megatron silences them. Later, when it becomes clear the Nemesis is going to crash into an exploding space bridge, Lugnut flees in an escape pod. Transform and Roll Out!

Lugnut and Blitzwing will arrive on Earth in search of their beloved leader in Episode 11 of Season One, but have an encounter with the Autobots. Lost & Found
