This article is about the Animated-series Decepticon military plane. For The Cybertron-series Decepticon motorcycle, see Lugnutz.
Lugnut is an Decepticon in the Transformers Animated continuity family.
The secret love child of Shockwave and Omega Supreme.

Lugnut has elevated blind loyalty to a fine art. If it came right down to it, this massively powerful mech would walk into Hell and back for Megatron. There may not be much going on upstairs, but Lugnut knows he doesn't need to be a thinker. His brute force alone is enough to serve Megatron, a being born to lead the Decepticons, and irreplaceable in Lugnut's eye. God only knows what he'd do if anything ever happened to him.

Lugnut is renowned throughout Cybertron as one of the most destructive fighters for the Decepticon cause, able to throw a punch with the force of a small bomb. The destruction he can cause with his physical strength is rivaled only by the armament he carries within him, including a plethora of cluster bombs. Autobots know that the only way to survive a fight with him is to stay out of his path.

I believe only two things: The Decepticons will rule Cybertron, and Megatron will rule the Decepticons!Lugnut, Megatron loyalist, "Lost and Found"

Lugnut was on board the Nemesis with Megatron, Starscream, Blitzwing and Blackarachnia when Starscream insulted Megatron (out of the latter's presence, of course). Lugnut leapt in and roared about how Megatron would lead the Decepticons to a new age. Blackarachnia mocked him, asking if the speech was memorized or just hardwired into his one-track processor. Blitzwing indirectly defended Lugnut by insulting Blackarachnia, but soon burst into song, prompting all the Decepticons to argue until the entry of Megatron silenced them. Later, when it became clear the Nemesis was going to crash into an exploding space bridge, Lugnut showed uncharacteristic intelligence by fleeing in an escape pod (though there is a good chance he left to find Megatron). LUGNUT SMASH!

After arriving on Earth's Moon, Lugnut and Blitzwing discovered the Nemesis, near where Blitzwing mentioned that Lockdown had last reported. Heading to Earth, Lugnut and Blitzwing had a battle with the Autobots. Lugnut managed to knock out the Autobots with his super-powerful punch (which Blitzwing says he told him "a thousand times" to warn him before using), which convinced Megatron that Lugnut could be trusted. He contacted Lugnut only, instructing him to find the All Spark, which would be able to restore Megatron. Blitzwing thought that Lugnut had finally overheated his motherboard. Heading for Lake Erie, the two Decepticons tracked down the Ark. Using a smokescreen underwater the Autobots managing to take the upper hand, but Lugnut show a bit of smarts and blew the smoke away. Unfortunately for him and Blitzwing, just as they were going destroy the Autobots, Ratchet and Sari Sumdac had brought its weapon systems online. The two Decepticons were blasted to the shores of Lake Erie in several pieces, severing Megatron's radio link with Lugnut. The next morning, Starscream appeared and promised to repair them—if they swore loyalty to him. All things considered, Lugnut is still drifting through the lake in several pieces. Lost and Found
