Nanosec

Nanosec is a human from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Nanosec (real name Nino Sexton) is one of the petty criminals littering Detroit. Originally nothing more than a small-time larcenist; a chance encounter with an experimental speed-enhancing suit developed by Sumdac Industries has turned him into the fastest thief in the Motor City.

He's still ugly, though.

General no-goodnik Nino Sexton pulls a minor heist and discovers that Isaac Sumdac's new automated Detroit police force are colossally stupid. Aiming to make a clean getaway, he attempts to steal a cute little yellow car, only to discover that not all robots are that dumb. At first the young Autobot shows off, running rings around him. However an argument breaks out between Bumblebee and Bulkhead, which results in the destruction of the boardwalk all three were standing upon. Rescued by Optimus Prime, Nino was sent straight to jail.

After Megatron manipulated Sumdac Systems computers to post Nino's bail, he was presented with an prototype speed-enhancing suit. Realizing his good fortune he does what anyone sensible would do and goes on a crime spree. Taking the nom de guerre of "Nanosec," Sexton soon finds that when moving at high speeds he can receive communications from his robotic benefactor. Megatron offers him access to Isaac Sumdac's bank account in exchange for a heist to acquire parts for his rebuilt body.

Though the heist itself went flawlessly, Nanosec was hotly pursued by the Autobots. Due to an uncoordinated battle plan however, he was able to escape them repeatedly. Finally Bumblebee noticed the aging effects of Nanosec's superspeed and literally ran the speedy criminal into a geriatric state. Harsh, Bumblebee. Nanosec
