Cheetor is a Neutral-turned-Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Cheetor is the AllSpark's mysterious guardian. Mysterious to the point that no one knows the source of his enormous strength and catlike form. Anyway, turns out being cloaked in mystery makes you very difficult to defeat, and even more difficult to buy presents for. Thankfully he uses his powers to defend the side of good against the Decepticons.

Cheetor is the guardian of the Allspark, and has been for centuries, or millennia, or longer than he's bothered to count. He traveled the Earth with The Allspark, leaving behind Groundbridges, and observes and tests those seeking The Allspark.. He has not had much contact with others and does not immediately see the hostility or guile in the voices of others. He doesn't know what Autobots or Decepticons really are.

Bumblebee notices a yellow Cybertronian cat watching the Autoots on the moon after their victory over Megatron Bad Moon Rising

Bumblebee investigates the being he found on the moon, and Bumblebee and Hot rod chase Cheetor outside of the Ark, where Hot Rod is inadvertently abducted by getting caught in Cheetor's Groundbridge.The Visitor

Cheetor's Groundbridge spits Hot Rod out in front of The Nemesis where he is captured by Decepticons. Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime

Cheetor uses his Groundbridge access to put Optimus Prime and Megatron in his room with the Allspark. Once he stops the two from fighting he asks for their story and cannot tell which is telling the truth, so he begins to quiz the leaders on their knowledge of each other. Megatron demands the quizzes end, so Cheetor moves on to the next trial, a trial of combat in which he gives each contendor armor. Optimus Prime gets a fighter jet, and Megatron gets a military helicopter. Cheetor then instructs them on how to use the energy of the Allspark to craft these items into armor. Mid fight Starscream flies in through the Groundbridge, steals the Allspark, steals the armors, and escapes. Megatron retreats while pretending he knew Starscream still lived.

In a flashback Cheetor reveals he repaired Starscream after finding him dead on the moon in the events of Bad Moon Rising. Cheetor then educates the Autobots on how he was formed from a piece of the Allspark and given the duty of guardian, where he sat on Earth for thousands of years creating thousands of groundbridges across Earth. Cheetor joined the Autobot group for the assault on Megatron's Nemesis to try and reclaim the Allspark, falsely believing Megatron had the Allspark. Cheetor goes into the ship with Bumblebee and HotRod, fighting Decepticons. Then Cheetor loses faith, believing that since he cannot sense the Allspark on the ship that The Allspark must have abandoned him. Cheetor returns to the main battle and interrupts Optimus and Megatron to announce that The Allspark is not there.Dark Birth

Cyberverse Elite Class Cheetor is a new mold transforming from robot to cheetah. He comes with the "Sea Fury" battleship, a retool of Bumblebee's Ocean Storm Spark Armour, which can form battle armour in robot mode. His hands have a slightly open claw grip that can hold 5mm post accessories. While his tail can be easily popped on and off, it can't really be held as a weapon and appears to be removable for safety reasons. He has very decent articulation compared to earlier Cyberverse toys but lacks a waist swivel due to the hinged panel on his back, and the slot on his waist used for locking the Sea Fury armor chestplate in place.

Like all Cyberverse Elite-class armor, The Sea Fury features a unique built-in helmet. Its armor mode has limited articulation, with elbow and bicep swivel joints, but does not have any shoulder articulation to speak of due to the way it automatically transforms when attached. As a result, it cannot assume the slightly splayed stance that it is shown in on the back of the package. It also has a flip-out anchor weapon which snaps into place in ship mode and unlocks by changing to armor mode. In addition, the armor features multiple 5 mm post holes, including the hands, shoulders, elbows, and one on the left forearm. While Cheetor himself sports an Autobrand on his right shoulder, the Sea Fury has a Maximal sigil on its prow. The Sea Fury is almost identical to Bumblebee's Ocean Storm, differing only in the color of the paint and the new helmet. The bridge and conning tower are only held in by friction, and as such may pop out during play. The clip that locks into Cheetor's waist can be rather tight, but can be disconnected by lifting the plate up rather than trying to pull it forward.

Cheetor was exclusively available at Target stores in the US. He is also available at general retail (albeit in limited numbers) in Malaysia excluding Toys"R"Us.
