After being exiled from Cybertron, the Constructicons were assigned to construct a city on Mayalx, Scrapper choosing to homage the Constructicons' previous success in rebuilding the wartorn Iacon. As the Constructicons reminisced on their discovering the Enigma of Combination, and how quickly the Mayalx project could have been completed had they still been able to combine, Long Haul reported that they were ready to beam another energon shipment to Cybertron, though he noted that they'd only just met their quota and wouldn't be seeing any extra fuel this cycle. In anger, Hook blindly threw a spare girder, accidentally striking a passing labourer, prompting Scrapper to scold him about dashing their hopes of going home. Observing all of this from afar, Bombshell gleefully noted that the Constructicons would be perfect for his plans. Constructicons Rising, Part 1
