• It's Grimlock! Despite visually being based on his evergreen design, in a concession to Hasbro's push for a unified brand look, the character's dialogue makes it clear that this is still the lovable lug from the 2015 Robots in Disguise series rather than a new incarnation.
• Grimlock is still afraid of cats, a trait he first exhibited in the Robots in Disguise episode "Even Robots Have Nightmares".

• Heatwave previously said the title phrase in the Rescue Bots episode "Return of the Dino Bot".
• Medix mentions his uncle Ratchet.
