A dedicated protector with devout faith in the AllSpark, he draws power from the relic to gain enormous strength and the ability to create GroundBridges at will. Knowing the threat that the Decepticons pose, Cheetor has chosen to join the Autobots, who have taken to teaching the naïve young bot about the ways of this new world. In turn, he stands with them to defend the side of good, hoping the Autobots and Decepticons will someday settle their differences and together become one with the AllSpark again.

Cheetor was once one with the AllSpark, but was brought to Earth by it and given his bestial form to act as the relic's guardian. For countless years, Cheetor traveled the world with The Allspark, using GroundBridges to move from place to place. That all changed when he first noticed the Cybertronians Bumblebee and Windblade. From that point on, he observed both the Autobots and Decepticons from afar, hoping their war would one day come to an end so they could all be united together in the AllSpark. Dark Birth
In the aftermath of a battle on the moon, Bumblebee spotted Cheetor watching them all, but by the time he could draw anyone else's attention, Cheetor was gone. Bad Moon Rising Cheetor observed the fallen form of Starscream before leaving the moon, accidentally leaving the GroundBridge open behind him. Dark Birth Bumblebee continued searching for information about the mysterious "moon cheetah", only to spot him watching the Autobots from outside the Ark. Bumblebee and Hot Rod attempted to catch him, but Cheetor used a GroundBridge to escape, with Hot Rod inadvertently following him through. The Visitor The GroundBridge emerged in front of the Nemesis, and after a scuffle with the Decepticons, Hot Rod fled the scene. Before he could retaliate, Megatron spotted Cheetor creating a GroundBridge, piquing his curiosity. Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime
When Optimus Prime and Megatron used their GroundBridges to access the AllSpark's chamber, Cheetor blocked their troops from following and introduced himself to the two leaders. To determine which of them was worthy of possessing the AllSpark, Cheetor challenged them to compete in "The Trials". When the trial of knowledge proved ineffective, Cheetor instead proposed a trial by combat, granting each contender new spark armor. While he was distracted by the battle, Starscream appeared and stole the AllSpark. Distraught at the seeming failure of his life's purpose, Cheetor offered to aid Optimus and his team in reclaiming the AllSpark. Trials
After explaining his origins to the Autobots, Cheetor joined them in a raid on the Nemesis. Cheetor attempted to discern the AllSpark's location, but could not sense it. At first worrying the AllSpark had abandoned him, he eventually realized that the AllSpark was not on the ship at all, using this revelation to force the others to stop fighting. Dark Birth

Cyberverse

- Cheetor (Elite Class, 2019)
- Accessories: "Sea Fury" battleship/armor
- Cyberverse Elite Class Cheetor is a new mold transforming from robot to cheetah. He comes with the "Sea Fury" battleship, a retool of Bumblebee's Ocean Storm Spark Armour, which can form battle armour in robot mode. His hands have a slightly open claw grip that can hold 5mm post accessories. While his tail can be easily popped on and off, it can't really be held as a weapon and appears to be removable for safety reasons. He has very decent articulation compared to earlier Cyberverse toys but lacks a waist swivel due to the hinged panel on his back, and the slot on his waist used for locking the Sea Fury armor chestplate in place.
- Like all Cyberverse Elite-class armor, The Sea Fury features a unique built-in helmet. Its armor mode has limited articulation, with elbow and bicep swivel joints, but does not have any shoulder articulation to speak of due to the way it automatically transforms when attached. As a result, it cannot assume the slightly splayed stance that it is shown in on the back of the package. It also has a flip-out anchor weapon which snaps into place in ship mode and unlocks by changing to armor mode. In addition, the armor features multiple 5 mm post holes, including the hands, shoulders, elbows, and one on the left forearm. While Cheetor himself sports an Autobrand on his right shoulder, the Sea Fury has a Maximal sigil on its prow. The Sea Fury is almost identical to Bumblebee's Ocean Storm, differing only in the color of the paint and the new helmet. The bridge and conning tower are only held in by friction, and as such may pop out during play. The clip that locks into Cheetor's waist can be rather tight, but can be disconnected by lifting the plate up rather than trying to pull it forward.
- Cheetor was exclusively available at Target stores in the US. He is also available at general retail in Malaysia.
Notes
- Throughout the series, Cheetor wields swords similar to the ones the original Cheetor uses in Beast Machines. This Cheetor is also design with differences; he resembles Beast Wars Cheetor with the broad chest of the Universe deluxe.
- Cheetor is shown to possess a mighty roar while in beast mode, even though real cheetahs can't roar.
