Talk:Smashdown
I'm putting this guy as an autobot; though, I'm not sure what he is. I'm going off that fact that his wavemate is a Decepticon, and that he's pictured being used by Springer. Please update if this is incorrect.Loon (talk) 04:34, 16 February 2019 (EST)Loon
- If we don't know his faction, it's okay to just not specify one until we do. We shouldn't ever be presenting guesswork as fact, y'know? Jalaguy (talk) 04:40, 16 February 2019 (EST)
On this guy and caliburst, I updated the info to show that they are Battle Masters, the current line; not Battle Masters, the "rock 'em sock 'em" style line, that they were linking to.Loon (talk) 15:52, 16 February 2019 (EST)Loon
Smashdown is male. Monzo added the info to this page months ago because he was present to see Hasbro's presentation at NYTF. [1] S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 18:42, 8 July 2019 (EDT)
- And yet, the TCG folk say she’s female, according to Vangelus. Escargon (talk) 19:03, 8 July 2019 (EDT)
He's clearly male (as much as such can be applied to a non-sexual alien robot). He's a robotic minotaur which is a humanoid bull. Bulls are all male (otherwise they'd be cows, which are not a very intimidating thing for a space robot to take the form of...) I dunno what TCG folk are smoking.16:45, 9 November 2019 (EST)
Not sure about "undocumented feature"
What the toy description lists as an undocumented feature does not actually appear to be an intentional design choice. It does not seem to fit very well and causes the handle to bend. Snapping it into the slot on the back to form a "tail" also has a rather "final" feel to it, as if it's not intended to be repeatedly attached and detached. So that it kind of fits under the left arm appears to be a coincidence more than anything, whereas most actual undocumented features are intentional but not pointed out in at least one region's instructions (usually Hasbro's). --King Starscream (talk) 14:34, 16 September 2019 (EDT)
